Russell teaches from his home studio in New Malden, London, KT3 3HJ. His studio has all the equipment required for a lesson, including spare guitars, amps and an array of pedals. Russell is 10 minutes walk from New Malden train station and has free parking anywhere on his street if you are driving. There are also regular buses coming from Kingston, which stop 5 minutes from his house.
Russell is a London/Surrey-based guitar teacher who has been playing the guitar for over 25 years and teaching for around 10. He has played in numerous bands and has performed at venues throughout Surrey and London and several small UK festivals and overseas gigs.Russell is passionate about teaching students of all ages, whether on electric or acoustic and can also teach beginner bass and ukulele. His teaching philosophy is based on establishing achievable goals and ensuring you have fun while learning. Whether you want to learn the basics to strum a few songs around the campfire or are keen to study music theory, improvisation and lead guitar, he has you covered.
