I love to jam with other people! I love the interaction, I love meeting new like-minded people, and I love that feeling of using my instrument to connect with another player and create music. I also know, that there are a lot of you guys out there that feel the same, but simply don't have any clear way to find like-minded students and make that dream a reality... Until now. We bring you, The Jam Day!
With every session we host, I'm offering 8 guitar students the chance to meet up in your local area, with me as your tutor and guide! It will be a full day of tuition, jamming and talking guitars and gear. Don't love blues? No problem! Although the core tracks are heavily blues influenced, you really don't even need to like blues to enjoy the day! Blues is a great base as it provides us with a few simple strucutres, but we will be very much building on that and working with other genres too!
On the day we will be working through 3 core songs, that will act as vessels for us to practice our rhythm, chords an lead within a group. It's all about learning to listen whilst playing and see just how much fun it is, and how rewarding it can be, to get out of the bedroom and into an ensemble environment with your playing. These tracks will be sent to you as soon as you have booked, and you'll have a detailed workbook and video lessons to go alongside them!
As we work through the day I will also be working with you each 1-2-1 to help advance your skills. This will be based on what I see from you on the day, and I'll even give you a clear pathway moving forward after the session based on our Guitar Club learning. As the day rolls n we'll also be inviting special guests in to make the session even more fun, working towards a mini gig at the end... Don't worry, it's not a real gig, just us all playing the tracks we've spent the time on back to back with a band situation!
