Being able to grab a guitar, plug in, start tapping your foot and laying down a rock solid groove that the audience can’t help but move to, well, there’s your magic, baby! Everything else is born and thrives from that initial groove, so let’s dig into how we can master some proper rhythms!

So, the 5 blues grooves we will be diving into are The Classic Shuffle, The Texas Shuffle, The Slow Blues, The Moving Riff & The Minor Blues! Some of these may sound more familiar than others, as some have more obvious names, but understanding all 5 of these will enable you to play 90% of all blues records ever made. With each groove we learn a full track to apply the skill, as well as talk about the theory, timing and changing the key of each of these rhythms. By the end of the course, not only will you have 5 awesome blues tracks to play along with, you’ll also have a seriously deep understanding and grasp of the most important blues rhythms in history!
