Summary: Classic Rock Licks
In this episode of AGS Andy and Thomas take you through a wide of range of classic rock licks, inspired by some of the greatest crock players ever. We take a look at Slash, Mayer, Gilmour and Jimmy Page, and give you a lick in the style of those players.
Lick 1: Jimmy Page Style
Our first lick, played by Andy, demonstrates just how much Jimmy Page was able to get out of the same 3 notes in the pentatonic scale. The bends are the key, as well as the speed changes between the licks. It's in the A minor pentatonic shape 1, as shown below.

Lick 3: Slash Style
Our third lick, played by Andy, is taken from a Slash style lick library, using his classic pedal note licks. This particular lick is based around the E minor pentatonic scale as shown below.
