Our location
James teaches from his awesome home studio, in the centre of Derby (DE23 8EB). The studio is beautifully equipped with amps, guitars, recording software (for more advanced students) as well as, perhaps most importantly, very comfortable chairs!
James has been a professional guitar player since the millennium, and in that time he has taught hundreds of students, toured the entire UK with various bands and acts, and graduated with a music degree some years back. James's main focus though is teaching. He loves the challenge of tailoring every single lesson to the specific student. As with all our tutors, James uses our syllabus, but he ensures that it is really brought to life in the lessons. His students absolutely love him, especially as he goes the extra mile outside the lessons to ensure that every students knows exactly what they need to practice.
