Matt's ability as a Tutor and guitarist stems from over a Decade of experience working with Bands, Artists, producers on stage and in the studio from the age of 13. With a degree in Professional musicianship and having been mentored by industry professionals, Matt has developed a unique and rounded understanding of the guitar and bass. He teaches students of all ages from young children looking to take their firsts steps into the world of music, to 80-year-old plus students looking to learn new skills and enjoy guitar during their retirement.
With a firm belief that learning an instrument should be a fun and rewarding experience, he bases lessons around your needs and interests as a student, ensuring you can get the most out of every lesson. He is extremely self motivated and has a lifelong love and commitment to teaching music, this reflects in reviews and feedback from his students. Matt teaches from his super relaxed home studio on Goldstone road, Hove, BN3 3RN. The home studio has everything you need to get the most out of your lessons from different amps, pedals, guitars, and more! With great transport links available, getting to lessons easily should be no problem at all. If you're driving, pay to park spots are available on the road as well as all of the surrounding roads. That being said, if driving isn't your thing, the home studio is no more than a 5 min walk from hove station. Likewise if you'd prefer to get the bus you can hop on the 2, 5, 5B, 21 or 46 which will take you to a stop just a 2 min walk away from the studio.
