Alex is a professional guitarist, producer and music educator with over ten years’ experience performing, recording and teaching across the UK and Europe. He has worked with artists including Ms Banks, Grace Gachot, Erica Manzoli, Lettice Rowbotham and Charlotte OC, bringing extensive touring and studio experience directly into his lessons.
Alex focuses on helping students build both confidence and creativity, tailoring every lesson to the individual. In his lessons he combines strong technical foundations, including music theory, ear training and tone development, all to help every student understand what they are playing, as well as being able to play it!
Lessons take place at 2 Arodene Road, Brixton, SW2 2BH, in a well-connected part of South London. Lessons take place in a professional studio environment featuring a range of high-quality instruments as well being equipped with industry-standard production tools to elevate the lessons even further.
The studio is within walking distance of Brixton (Victoria Line & National Rail) and Herne Hill (National Rail and Thameslink), and just a short bus ride from Streatham Hill (National Rail). The area is well served by multiple bus routes, including 2, 3, 35, 37, 45, 59, 109, 133, 137, 159, 196, 201, 250, 322, 333, 355, 415, 417, 432, 690 and P5. Nearest bus stops are Blenheim Gardens and Brixton Water Lane, PLUS on-street parking is available nearby.
Alex combines his own experience and skill with our hand crafted course material and write up tools, to offer the complete learning experience. Our course material works in a very specific way that guarantees success.
