A little about Dale.

Dale has been playing guitar for over 20 years and has worked as a professional musician for more than 10 years, combining extensive industry experience with a genuine passion for helping students of all ages and abilities achieve their musical goals. Whether teaching complete beginners or more experienced players looking to refine their skills, every lesson is tailored to each student's individual goals, favourite artists and musical interests. Dale believes learning should be enjoyable, relaxed and rewarding, creating an environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and excited to keep progressing week after week.

Alongside teaching, Dale has spent many years working professionally within the music industry as a guitarist, songwriter and collaborator. He has written with critically acclaimed local musicians and artists and has contributed to projects involving artists including Rag'n'Bone Man and Roger Daltrey, earning songwriting and performance credits on commercially released albums. As a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, piano and drums, Dale brings a broad understanding of musicianship, songwriting, recording and live performance into every lesson. He is proud to have built an outstanding reputation as a teacher, with excellent reviews and recommendations from students and parents alike. Many of his students have gone on to perform live, write and record their own music, pass graded exams and, most importantly, develop a lifelong passion for playing guitar. Whatever a student's ambitions, Dale's goal is to provide inspiring, engaging and enjoyable lessons that help every learner become a confident, well-rounded musician.

Lessons take place in Dale’s dedicated home music studio in Heathfield, East Sussex. It's a comfortable, creative space filled with guitars, recording equipment, a piano and plenty of musical inspiration, providing the perfect environment to learn. Whether students are having their very first lesson or working towards more advanced techniques, the studio offers a relaxed atmosphere where they can feel at ease and focus entirely on their playing.

The studio is easy to reach from Heathfield, Hailsham, Horam, Uckfield, Crowborough and the surrounding villages. There is free on-site parking available directly outside the property, making lessons simple and convenient for students arriving by car. For those travelling by public transport, there are regular bus services into Heathfield, with local stops just a short walk away.
