Gareth is an experienced guitarist and has been teaching with Your Guitar Academy for many years! He teaches students of all ages, from 5-year-old kids looking to take the next steps with their musical ambitions, to 65-year-old students who want to learn to play the guitar during their retirement.
Gareth is passionate about teaching the guitar and passing on his valuable knowledge picked up over many years of professional performing and recording. Above all, he takes great pleasure from watching students improve and grow as guitarists.
Gareth Teaches from his studio in Windway Road, CF5 1AF. The studio is fully equipped with amps, guitars, pedals and everything else you need to have a great lesson. It's a beautiful location with good transport links, as it is only an 18-minute walk away from Waungron Park train station, with the closest bus stop being Windway Road.
Gareth combines his own experience and skill with our hand crafted course material and write up tools, to offer the complete learning experience. Our course material works in a very specific way that guarantees success. We teach you a new technique, skill or piece of theory via the course material, then as you improve in that we apply it to real world songs.
