David graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music in Performance. He has worked for several years as a freelance guitar teacher and as a guitar tutor at The Rock Project where his role included conducting ensembles.
David also has the knowledge and experience in playing and teaching guitar in many musical styles, as well as the ability to include music theory in his teaching. He's also able to transcribe songs and present them in an easy-to-read format, particularly helpful for beginner students.
David teaches from his fully equipped studio in his home in Borehamwood, Aberford Road WD6 1PN. The studio is set up with everything you need for the perfect guitar lesson - spare guitars and amps for students, a laptop for finding songs, a big screen for course material and a relaxed environment.
The home studio is located just a 15-minute walk from Holloway Road station with the closest bus stop being on Parkhurst Road and the buses 17, 91 and 393 stopping there. If you are driving you have access to the private parking within the Close, making it easy for parents to drop off their kids for the lessons.
David combines his own experience and skill with our hand crafted course material and write up tools, to offer the complete learning experience. Our course material works in a very specific way that guarantees success. We teach you a new technique, skill or piece of theory via the course material, then as you improve in that we apply it to real world songs.
