With 20 years of experience, Hugh is a highly qualified musician holding a BMus degree from the London Centre of Contemporary Music. As a professional guitarist and vocalist, he has toured extensively across the UK with several prominent bands. Known for being humble, down-to-earth, and incredibly enthusiastic, Hugh brings a wealth of real-world expertise to every session.
As a passionate educator, Hugh enjoys working with both children and adults to help them achieve their musical ambitions. He understands that every musician is unique and meticulously tailors his lessons to suit the individual needs of his students, ensuring that the learning process is always engaging, effective, and fun.
Hugh teaches from his fully equipped home studio at Edans Court, W12 9EW. The studio is conveniently located in West London and is excellently connected by public transport. The space itself is designed to be inspiring and welcoming, packed with a professional array of guitars, amplifiers, and high-tech recording equipment. Parents are always warmly invited to sit in and observe their child’s lesson, ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for students of all ages.
Hugh’s studio is ideally located for easy access across West London, featuring the rare benefit of free parking right outside. The closest stations are Ravenscourt Park and Stamford Brook, with Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith hubs nearby. Well-served by the 283, 72, and 272 buses and situated just off the A40, it is a straightforward commute for students from Acton, Notting Hill, and beyond.
