First learning the guitar at the age of 13, Mark soon realised his passion for the instrument. Through various experiences at school, university and many musical endeavours, he has acquired a large amount of valuable information of the guitar.
Mark has had experience in teaching all ages and all abilities. He strives to continuously help each of his students achieve their goals by finding enjoyable material to inspire motivation after each lesson.
Though Mark's main strengths are in rock, metal, shred and prog, he has had success in both playing and teaching other genres such as: blues, indie, RnB, jazz and some classical. He is also able to teach bass to beginner to intermediate students. By taking numerous music theory exams, Mark is able to help students with any theory questions they may have, and help prepare them for any exams of their own.
Mark combines his own experience and skill with our hand crafted course material and write up tools, to offer the complete learning experience. Our course material works in a very specific way that guarantees success. We teach you a new technique, skill or piece of theory via the course material, then as you improve in that we apply it to real world songs.
