Reuben has been a professional musician for nearly 15 years. He plays in and runs bands for high-end events, as well as featuring as a Session player for original artists both in the studio and live on stage. Reuben has a wealth of experience playing lots of different styles and is eager to convey his passion for music to his students!
With a friendly and relaxed teaching-style, the lessons are a fun, rewarding experience where students will see progress daily and be eager to learn more as they improve.
Reuben’s home studio is based in Harlow, just next to Harlow Town train station. The studio is fully equipped with guitars and amps as well as modellers to play through if students wish.
If travelling by car, there is parking in front of the building subject to availability, or alternatively there is plenty of space in the train station car park (a 1-min walk).
Reuben combines his own experience and skill with our hand crafted course material and write up tools, to offer the complete learning experience. Our course material works in a very specific way that guarantees success. We teach you a new technique, skill or piece of theory via the course material, then as you improve in that we apply it to real world songs.
Plus, after the lesson you can find your material, notes and feedback live in your login area, direct from Reuben, so you don’t miss a beat! This means you get the understanding of what you are doing, the ability to do it, and the fun of playing the songs you love! What could be better?

As well as that, with your 3 chords, I want you to try this slightly altered strumming pattern, once again alongside the beat that we were practising to.
