Matt Teaches from his studio in North Road, CF10 3EZ. The studio is fully equipped with amps, guitars, pedals and everything else you need to have a great lesson. It's a beautiful location with good transport links, only around the corner from Blackwier bus stop or 89B and an 11 minute walk away from Cathays train station.
Matt is an experienced guitarist and has been teaching with Your Guitar Academy for many years! He teaches students of all ages, from 5-year-old kids looking to take the next steps with their musical ambitions, to 65-year-old students who want to learn to play the guitar during their retirement. Matt likes to tailor his lessons to the individual, as well as utilising tried and tested methods to ensure improvement in technique, improvisation, fretboard knowledge and theory. Matt is passionate about teaching the guitar and passing on his valuable knowledge picked up over many years of professional performing and recording. Above all, he takes great pleasure from watching students improve and grow as guitarists.
