Your Guitar Academy is now offering guitar lessons Derby. Our guitar tutor in that area, James, is an extremely motivated, dedicated and experienced tutor ready to help improve your guitar playing.
We offer a no obligation £10 trial lesson to allow you to come along, meet James in Derby, have a chat about your guitar lesson goals and aims, look over our course material and basically get you started.
James teaches from his awesome home studio, in the centre of Derby, DE23 8EB. The studio is beautifully equipped with amps, guitars, recording software (for more advanced students) as well as, perhaps most importantly, very comfortable chairs! If you're travelling by bus, there are multiple ways of getting to James! The Melbourne Street stop using buses 2, 2a, 2b, 2c, 38, 38 Sapphire, 255 or 261 is a 4 minute walk away. Alternatively, using stops on Charnwood Street or Hartington Street using buses 4, 7, 234, 240 or 276 is a 4-minute walk away! if travelling by train, Derby train station is a 14-minute walk away. There is also free parking outside after 6pm!
James has been a professional guitar player since the millennium, and in that time he has taught hundreds of students, toured the entire UK with various bands and acts, and graduated with a music degree some years back. James's main focus though is teaching. He loves the challenge of tailoring every single lesson to a specific student. As with all our tutors, James uses our syllabus, but he ensures that it is really brought to life in the lessons. His students absolutely love him, especially as he goes the extra mile outside the lessons to ensure that every student knows exactly what they need to practice.
