Radu teaches from his modern home studio in Wandsworth, SW18 2AD. The studio is equipped with amps, guitars, pedals, comfortable chairs, a sofa and even a cup of tea or coffee before the lesson! If you plan on driving to the lessons, there is usually plenty of free parking space outside Radu's building. If you're coming by bus, the nearest stop would be The Old Sergeant, and by train, Earlsfield or Wandsworth Town are both at about a 10 min walk away.
Radu's experience as a teacher comes from over 15 years of playing as a solo artist and in various bands. Along the way he has been teaching students with a wide range of backgrounds and interests, from rock'n'roll enthusiasts to heavy metal and pop players. Having an outside-the-box approach to music, connecting both technique and "feel", Radu is dedicated to helping any student achieve their full capacity as a player. His friendly nature and relaxed approach also ensure that his students are comfortable and enjoying the entire lesson, most of whom refer to it as their 'zen time' each week!
YGA's guitar lessons are either 60 or 45 minutes long and can always be booked in at a time convenient to you. All our tutors teach up until 9pm on weekdays, so after-work times are not a problem. Many of our guitar teachers in London also offer weekend availability. Prices are as follows...
