Per bass note, we have two chord shapes that we are playing, which are written out below. Remember that you do a combination of picking and sliding for these chord shapes, so please be sure to watch the video closely to see!

For this solo we are in the key of D minor and John Mayer uses the D minor pentatonic scale in all positions across the neck.
