Summary: Delicate

For this track, which doesn't have a prominent guitar part, we are taking the main piano/synth part and converting them to acoustic guitar. This will allow you to play and sing along with the track so that you can accompany yourself when playing the song.

The Main Chords: Powerchords

For this track we can use 4 chords, playing one bar each chord. The chords are shown below and will go in this sequence:

C5 /// D5 /// A5 /// F5 ///

The Groove: Palm Muting dwonstrokes

For the groove we will need to do all downstrokes using palm muting. Remember that to palm mute can can rest you right hand on the lower strings near the bridge of the guitar (as Simone shows in the video). You also highlight the "1" and the "2 and" in your counting to bring the groove to life. Here is the rhythm pattern:

The bridge: Chords

The bridge section is a little different and utilises some new powerchords, like this:

E5 /// A5 /// G5 /// //// (x2)

You can play these chords in the shapes as shown below:

    Keep Learning: powerchords

If you really like this track but struggle with the powerchords, you will love our full powerchord course! we cover both shapes in great detail, with multiple camera anagles. It's a full course, and totally free (As is everything on the site). You can find it here: Powerchord Guitar Course.
