This easy going pop tune is great for beginner guitar players who want to practice and learn their open chords, and even try a new way of play the dreaded F major chord! Simone walks you through all the chords and rhythm you need!
The 4 chords we are using are G major, A minor, C major and F major. We are using a capo on the 6th fret, as you can see in the picture below. Remember, the F is not played with a barre chord in this case (thankfully!).
The main rhythm pattern relies on you changing the chords at a very specific point. Follow the pattern below and be sure to play the G major on beat number 1 in the first bar, then play A minor on beat '4+'. Then on the '2+' of the next bar you change to the C major. You then play the F major for the whole strumming pattern the next time round, starting from the 1. In the verse (rather than chorus), you do exactly the same, you just don't play the C major.
All done?
Congratulations
