Summary: In Bloom

If you are looking for a song to really practice and master your power chord playing, this is the one for you! It's such a great tune and the chords jump all over the neck, so it's the perfect practice tool.

The Chords: Power Chords!

For this track we are using a lot of power-chords, which is a great challenge for beginners to change between. All the chords we are using are shown below. Remember, if you play any of these chords with slightly different fingers, that is no problem! Stick to what you like!

Rhythm: 2 BAR PATTERN

During this song we have a range of strumming patterns, so we thought it might be best to pop them all in the dropdown menus shown below. Good luck!

1st Strumming Pattern (click to expand)

The 1st rhythm pattern loops over 2 bars, as you can see below. IMPORTANT: The chord changes mid bar (on the 4th beat). Here are those rhythm patterns.

2nd Strumming Pattern (click to expand)

During the verse we are using a slightly different strumming pattern, which is shown below. We repeat the first pattern 3 times, then the second pattern or the last two chords.

3rd Strumming Pattern (click to expand)

We have a new strumming pattern again during the next part of the song, which is as follows.
