Your Guitar Academy is now offering guitar lessons in Shoreditch, London, with the amazing, Theo! With years of experience and a welcoming personality, Theo is fully equipped to help you master the guitar.

Our goal is to continuously improve our service, and having a solid video player that loads fast, and offers you tools that can improve the learning experience, is absolutely crucial.

We put our guitar brains together, and came up with the concept of a 5 day course, that would work as a challenge for the week. You would start the course on a Saturday, and finish it by the following weekend!

It's 2023, and some very exciting changes are coming your way this year! I wanted to talk briefly about one massive change in our shop.

Now, you hear from me a lot these days! Blog posts, YouTube vids, courses, emails… You name it; I'm talking a lot! However, you don't hear as much from our core team in the office, and these guys are doing most of the hard work! My amazing team of Ollie, Cam and Jonty are as much a part of our progress as anyone else, so I wanted to give them a chance to review their year and tell us a bit about their plans for the coming year.

In today's lesson, Franco is giving a bit of a masterclass on how to get your chord changes to sound a bit more professional. Today we're talking about making more use of your strumming hand, and adding in ghost notes, sometimes known as "Chka Chkas"!

Your Guitar Academy is now offering guitar lessons in Preston Park Brighton. Our guitar tutor in that area, Simone, is committed, reliable, honest and, most importantly, loves to bring a sense of fun and enjoyment to the focused learning of music.

This year I want to help students that are just, quite simply, feeling stuck with their playing. I know that feeling all too well, and I know exactly how to help! t's a pretty funny old cycle of frustration, and even with the best will in the world, it's hard to push through that by yourself. It's at this point where we all need a little help.

Franco is in the hot seat today with a really cool little lesson talking about how to create a very "dark" chord progression. If you like to get a little creative with your guitar, or you like to write chord progressions and your own songs, then this little tip will be great for you.
